June 1, 2007 - Sandusky, OH – Sandusky Newspapers Inc., has signed an agreement to install Vision Data’s Total Advertising system in The Sandusky (OH) Register, a 23,000 circulation daily, and The Norwalk (OH) Reflector, a 9,000 circulation sister paper. These publications join several others in Sandusky Newspapers Inc. group, countrywide, that count on Vision Data to provide them with reliable and innovative newspaper management solutions.
Both newspapers will operate off of a single database, mounted on a state-of-the-art Sun Microsystems server, with a total of 28 concurrent users having access to appropriate classified, display advertising and accounting functions built into the Vision Total Advertising System. Vision Data’s expanded cross-selling features, E-Tears and the contact management and sales functionality, not available as a part of other comparable systems in the marketplace, will increase revenues while eliminating existing duplication and manual processes.
The Sandusky Register and The Norwalk Reflector have also opted for Vision Data’s most in-demand product, VisionWeb. VisionWeb is one web application integrating a single rating engine between all applications, offering intuitive up-sells in a private-party and commercial classified ad-builder. VisionWeb also integrates circulation and subscription maintenance, and commercial and contract ad placement for display, classified display, and retail space reservations. Advertisers can even access transaction reports, all in one simple application! VisionWeb Home Order Entry has yielded unprecedented returns since its release.
The Sandusky Register and The Norwalk Reflector will also be utilizing Vision Data’s Classified Pagination solution to complement their classified front-end choice, and Vision Total Accounts Payable/ General Ledger to integrate all accounting and budgeting processes.
The Norwalk Reflector will also upgrade their Vision Circulation system to allow a complete single point of entry customer service solution for their customers and provide Easy Pay options.
