June 18, 2010 - Rensselaer, New York - Vision Data this week activated a "live" remote hot-backup system to provide complete security for Vision Data customers who are running systems hosted by Vision Data on either an ASP (Application Service Provider) or SaaS (Software as a Service) basis. The system is located in a Vision Data owned facility in another city, miles from Vision Data’s main hosted-server location, insuring continued operation in the event of a natural disaster at Vision Data’s primary site.

Both of Vision Data’s hosted server systems are housed in wholly-owned 100% Vision Data occupied facilities. The main facility has offices on three floors and its own private parking lot, providing great control of building security. This site already boasts an on-site natural gas generator which automatically supports the electrical energy and telephone needs of our main facility. Customer data at the backup site is updated from the live site, 24/7.
