August 20, 2012 - Elizabethtown, NY – Denton Publications, publishers of weekly newspapers in upstate New York and Vermont,. today announced the purchase a complete system upgrade for all advertising and business functions from their long-time systems provider, Vision Data Corp., Rensselaer, NY.
The installation includes upgrading to Vision Total Advertising sales and management system to handle all classified ad sales and billing, display ad billing and accounts receivable management. Denton is also upgrading to Vision Total Accounts Payable/General Ledger for their general accounting. They are also moving to Vision Classified Pagination and the Vision Retail Ad Placement System for page preparation, and are adding VisionWeb Home Order Entry System which allows customers to place and pay for ads directly from their home computers.
Denton’s sales staff will also be using the VisionWeb Remote SalesManager - a complete sales, CRM and ad order entry system that .empowers the rep with full remote access to full live information on their own accounts, through direct browser access to Vision Total Advertising. It allows them to review activity, post payments, enter new prospects, submit ads and artwork without needing to return to the office. Access can be via I-Pad or Android, Smart Phone, laptop, or the customer’s computer. Full reporting on all systems is generated directly through Vision Total Advertising.
Additionally, Denton Publications will be using the VisionWeb Database/Search Engine for their websites and will be among the first publishers to use the newly developed Vision AdTrak ad tracking production management system.
